A NORTH Somerset garage has scooped a national award thanks to customers impressed by its service.

Holders Garage, in Congresbury, was voted Unipart Car Centre of the Year and this week it received a cheque for �200 and a trophy.

Customers were asked by Unipart to score garages on a variety of criteria including costs and staff assistance and Holders came out on top.

Rex Jeffrey, the company’s managing director, said: “We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, trustworthy, family-run business that our customers can rely on to provide them with value for money and excellent customer service.

“Winning the competition means so much to us, as it is based on the votes and recommendations of our customers. That’s the biggest compliment any business can get.”
