BLAGDON-based Yeo Valley will host a series of talks with well-known gardeners to raise money for a vital appeal.

Among the familiar names from TV, radio and magazines to appear will be Sarah Raven, Alys Fowler, Bunny Guinness and Jekka McVicar.

Money from the events will go towards the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust and Horatio’s Garden, a planned rehabilitation garden at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury, the only specialist spinal injury centre in the South and South West.

Sarah Raven will give courses called The Cutting Garden and Year Round Veg at the Lakewood Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

On April 13 Alys Fowler will give a talk on Edible Gardening at The Organic Garden while Toby Buckland while give one on Flowers: Planning and Planting for Continuous Colour on May 4.
