THERE are many things you expect to see while driving along the A370 but a nine-foot-tall multi-coloured watering can is not one of them.
Inspired by the success of the Gromits decorated to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West, local artist Damien Jeffrey has tried his own version.
The giant watering can, full of plants and flowers, stands proudly outside Cleeve Nursery. It has giant sunflowers and tomatoes sprayed on it and the glasshouse behind it has been similarly decorated.
Damien joked: “I have been asked to create interesting images on many objects but never before on a huge watering can and glasshouse.”
