A ROUND of golf raised £430 for Weston’s RNLI station appeal.
The charity event was organised by Mercedes-Benz and held at Weston Golf Club and 36 players took part.
The Weston branch of the company has been supporting the RNLI throughout the year to help it raise £300,000 to build a new lifeboat station in the town.
Richard Fellows, Weston Mercedes-Benz’s dealer principal, said: “Our golf day was played in good weather and great spirit and we were very grateful for the generosity of those who took part for their support of our chosen charity for 2014.”
