A MUSIC shop in Weston has seen the sales of guitars increase by 25 per cent in the last month.

Emarty Shop in Orchard Street have benefited from a large increase of business recently.

Shop manager, Tom Conibear said: “There has been an increase by about 25 per cent.

“I think it has to do with a lot more people walking down the street.

“Business is not dead and a lot of it is who walks through the door.

“Our sales tend to be people who know they are going to buy a guitar unless they are a musician.

“It is mainly a decision they have pondered over for a few weeks.”

Other products in the shop have also seen a rise in sales alongside guitars in the last month.

“Generally the whole shop seems to be moving again, there seems to be a little bit more spare money.”

The guitars range from £150-£700 and second hand guitars can be bought from around £70.

Tom said: “There is something for everyone and the second hand guitars go quite quickly.”
