HERITAGE Automotive has been awarded One to Watch status as part of the 100 Best Companies Accreditation 2009 Project compiled on behalf of The Sunday Times.

The company, which has a Volkswagen dealership in Aisecome Way, Weston, fought off strong competition despite taking part in the project for the first time.

Each year Best Companies and The Sunday Times celebrate the best small, mid-size and big workplaces in the UK.

A random sample of employees from each business are confidentially surveyed on the culture of the company, its management style and what makes it a good employer.

This enables Best Companies to compile lists of the top 100 companies, which The Sunday Times publishes.

Heritage Automotive has been listed amongst some of the UK's highest profile companies including Ericsson and Tesco.com

Group human resources manager, Mike Dowling, said: "We are delighted with this recognition from The Sunday Times.

"The team at each location work extremely hard to deliver first class customer service on all levels.

"Heritage Automotive Limited support and encourage all of our staff to achieve their best everyday.

"I am extremely proud to be a part of a company that employs great people and who genuinely cares for its staff and customers alike.
