TWO businesses in Weston-super-Mare have expanded and moved into bigger offices within a year of opening.

Communications services company First Class Comms and marketing firm Echo Engage are both based at The Hive in Beaufighter Road.

The Hive is run by the North Somerset Enterprise Agency, and provides workspace and advice for businesses.

First Class Comms, which has been at The Hive since it opened a year ago, is expanding for a second time since its launch and is moving into one of the biggest office spaces in the building.

And Echo Engage opened six months ago, and has also taken on a larger workspace.

Enterprise Agency chief executive Angela Hicks said: “A real sense of pride and achievement comes from seeing our tenants benefitting from our workspace here, taking on staff and expanding.”
