AN EVENT aimed at linking up job seekers with employers will be held in Weston tomorrow (Wednesday).
Kick Start has been organised by Weston College and will be at the Winter Gardens from noon to 2.30pm.
Job seekers will not only get the chance to start networking with businesses but there will be a speed dating session, during which employers will conduct five-minute interviews.
Visitors are advised to come dressed to impress and take their CV.
Sue Estcourt, the college’s pre-employment engagement and outreach coordinator, said: “This will be a great opportunity for job seekers to network with a variety of organisations as well as gaining some valuable interview practice.
“Taking part in work experience or volunteering can provide an excellent kick start to any career, giving an opportunity to showcase existing skills, develop new ones and get noticed as a potential new employee.”
