A ONE-STOP skills and job shop helping people achieve their career and learning potential is celebrating its first anniversary.
Westonworks, in St Andrew’s Parade, saw more than 450 enter its doors during its first year.
The drop-in service provides free and confidential advice about learning, training, volunteering, employment and self employment.
Manager Adrian Stone said: “What makes Westonworks unique is that advisors from many different organisations are based at the centre, providing specialist advice and support.
“We aim to provide a friendly and comfortable place for people to visit, with access to lots of resources.”
The facility also offers free internet access for job search, computer training and specialist career change resources.
The North Somerset Council-funded centre is open 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
