A WESTON accountant has been re-elected as the head of the town’s branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
John Mayer, who runs TaxAssist Accountants in Drove Road, was reappointed by a FSB which praised his successful campaigning over the past 12 months.
He said: “I’m delighted to have been re-elected as chairman of our district’s FSB.
“I run my own small business and look after the tax and accountancy needs of more than 300 small local businesses, so feel I have a grassroots understanding of the issues facing small businesses in Weston.
“We currently have over 1,000 FSB members in the district and, in my position as chairman, it is my job to ensure those voices are heard at a national level.”
