Six Lidl employees from Weston were covered in paint after raising £500 for the young people’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

Supermarket workers Jon Carter, Denise Sprague, Donna McKellar, Heather Hawkins, Lee Clark and Alastair Dobbyn took part in a colour vibe 5km run at Washing Pool Farm in Bristol on July 9.

CLIC Sargent offers support to young people and their families undergoing cancer treatment.

Since choosing CLIC Sargent as its charity partner, Lidl shoppers and employees have raised £900,000, which can fund 36,000 hours of care.

Jon said: “We all had a lot of fun at colour vibe and we’re lucky to have had the support of our amazing colleagues.”
