MP supports small businesses

A SELECTION of Weston businesses held a question and answer session with the town’s MP John Penrose.

The regional branch of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), which has more than 1,000 members, seeks to promote small firms or those who are self-employed.

Various topics were discussed including pensions, apprenticeships and renewable energy schemes.

FSB member Colin Sandford said he hopes its campaigns and events will grab the attention of MPs and ensure small businesses are protected.
