A NEW brasserie opening in Weston this month looks set to become a significant employer in the area.
The Imperial on South Parade, which is owned by brothers Chris and Mike Sanders, has already recruited more than 25 new staff for its official launch on April 20.
Chris said: “Everyone we’ve employed so far lives in Weston or North Somerset and we’ve still got some more vacancies to fill and may even take on more part-time staff if demand dictates it.”
The brothers bought the pub last autumn and have spent thousands of pounds refurbishing the building.
