Flights to Nantes and Venice from Bristol have been launched by easyJet.
The airline expects the new routes will see an additional 70,000 tourists fly in and out of Bristol Airport each year.
Shaune Browne, aviation director, said: “The Italian and French markets are vitally important for us and we see continued growth both from a business and visitor perspective.”
