New expansion for recession-defying agents

A SOMERSET estate agency is plotting an expansion into Wrington – the fifth office opened by Annagram since it was created just eight years ago.

Founders Sue Iles and Neil Jenkin opened their first office in Axbridge in 2002, but have already defied successive recessions to expand into Cheddar, Winscombe and Wedmore.

The firm now employs 15 people, and Edward Creswick, who joined as a director in 2006, says Annagram is a firm on the up.

He said: “Last year was the most profitable year since we opened and 2010 looks as if it’s going to surpass that.”
