A LONG-RUNNING pub has been rebranded and has reopened with an aim to ‘bring the classic pub and restaurant feel back to the community’.
The Hobbs Boat in Lympsham has been refurbished by Whitbread, but still stands on the site of ferryman Thomas Hobb’s original 17th century cottage.
General manager Sandi Perry said: “We’re thrilled to be putting the heart back into the community with the makeover of Hobbs Boat.
“Our aim is to make this a community-focused destination and we look forward to welcoming people to the new pub restaurant.”
