A BRAND new pub and restaurant has sprung up at Weston’s old airfield site.

The Landing Light, owned by Marston’s, now has a pub manager and the company is quickly recruiting the rest of the team.

Marston’s secretary Joanne Farrell said: “We’re only months away from opening and this is an exciting time for the pub.

“We believe the Landing Light will be a hub for the community offering great food and drink plus excellent value for money and fantastic customer service.”

The new watering hole is due to open in July.
