A new business has been set up in Weston to support people in managing their care.
CareHub has opened its doors at The Hive and it will offer advice and services to people who receive personal or health budgets.
A personal budget is an agreed amount of money allocated to a patient by a local authority or the NHS to help pay for their care needs.
However, people often struggle to manage their budgets effectively and CareHub is intending to help people make smart choices.
CareHub’s co-founder Tony Webber said: “We will work in partnership with each individual and professionals to ensure the allocated budget is used in the most effective way – with CareHub there is only one contract, one management focus and one point of contact.”
