MEMBERS of the public were encouraged to try their hand at arts and crafts at a studio open day.
The Barley Wood Walled Garden in Wrington opened its doors to let people try throwing on the potter’s wheel as part of the Made in North Somerset festival.
Throughout the day the studio hosted demonstrations on glass-making, pastel painting and sculpting with clay.
Made In North Somerset is designed to showcase the talents of the area, support the local businesses and celebrate the variety of local food, drink, art and craft produced in the region. The festival runs across North Somerset until October 6. For the full list of events visit www.innorthsomerset.co.uk/madein
