A student from Weston College visited 10 Downing Street to meet David Cameron and take part in his community engagement forum.

Fahma Mohamed, aged 19, is on an access to higher education course at the college and was questioned by the Prime Minister on Muslim women’s issues.

Two years ago Fahma rose to international fame after creating a petition seeking to put education at the heart of tackling female genital mutilation.

During her recent visit to Downing Street she spoke to the Prime Minister about the issues of empowerment, segregation and isolation which Muslim women face in the UK today.
