A FORMER pharmacy may be converted into a takeaway in Weston.
The unit in Locking Road has stood empty since Day Lewis Pharmacy moved to a different premises and plans to open up a fish and chip shop has been submitted to North Somerset Council.
Applicants, Chris Moreton Properties, believe a takeaway would offer extra employment opportunities and provide a fresh alternative to a number of Chinese takeaways in the vicinity.
