PAMPERING sessions and children’s activities raised £940 for Weston Hospicecare and the restoration of the Badgworth church tower.
Kelly Hooper, who owns The Barn beauty salon in Church Lane in Badgworth, along with holistic practitioners Alex Holloway and Rosalyn Chissick, gave 30-minute beauty treatments to 45 clients.
Children were able to make their own Christmas decorations, while more than 100 people also browsed a variety of craft stalls and ate mince pies.
Kelly said: “This is the second year running we have had a specialist fund-raising pamper day. It is great to give something back to the local community.
“A special thank you goes to all the crafters who attended, donating 20 per cent of their takings to the charities.”
