A DOG-LOVING Congresbury woman has launched a new course for pet pooches.
Jo Buckingham, of Hill Park, has created Scruffy Mutts, for owners and their dogs to explore the natural way dogs behave.
Sessions will include fun activities, social walks, tracking, nose work, mental stimulation and fun agility, and the first gathering will take place at Claverham’s Orchard Bank Stables, in Streamcross, at 10am on Sunday.
Jo, who is studying a dog behaviour course, said: “The sessions are all aimed at having fun, enjoying our dogs and exploring their natural behaviours.
“There is no pressure and definitely no training so people should come along and find out what their dog can do.”
The sessions, priced 10, will last for two hours, with a maximum of six dogs and tea and biscuits will be provided.
On January 23 an Irish retriever rescue sponsored walk will take place and on February 15 there will be a talk and demonstration on canine acupuncture. To book call Jo on 07743 173547.
