SHOPS in Weston have been showcasing their wares along with festive window displays – but one has been chosen as the best.
Walker & Ling was presented with a trophy from the Business Improvement District (BID) for its display featuring a polar bear. Mayor Roz Willis and mayoress Jos Holder gave boss Sam Walker the trophy.
The Market Place in St James Street and Charlie’s Sweet Factory on the seafront were also given prizes for their displays.
Street scene manager Beverley Tucker said: “We feel it is important to recognise the efforts put in by the businesses around the town and these awards are a great way to appreciate everything they do.”
