ONE of Weston’s major attractions has been shortlisted in a prestigious regional tourism awards event.

Puxton Park was named among the leading group in the Best Large Attraction in Bristol and the West category of the Destination Bristol Tourism Awards.

The awards salute business excellence within the industry, but also recognise individuals for their hard work in raising the profile and standards within their businesses.

Puxton’s managing director Alistair Mead (pictured), said: “This is a fantastic credit for the Puxton team that we were both nominated and shortlisted as best large attraction.

“I would like to congratulate everyone at Puxton for their efforts in securing our position as one of the best attractions in the region and would also like to thank all of our customers for their continued support.”
