Plans to build a nursery at Puxton Park have been submitted for a third time, with its boss confident of finally winning approval from North Somerset Council.
The tourist attraction has twice applied for planning permission to create a nursery which would look after dozens of children aged six months to four years old.
However, both attempts have failed to win approval from officers.
After going back to the drawing board and submitting new blueprints, managing director Alistair Mead is ‘confident’ reasons for refusal have been addressed and hopes it will be ‘third time lucky’ for the propoals.
He said: “We feel confident our proposition will benefit the community in providing a nursery located in such an exceptional environment.
“Although the location would be conveniently near the M5, it will also be surrounded by beautiful countryside.
“We hope this will encourage children to love the great outdoors and give them the skills they will need for a successful future.”
