ALLIANCE Homes handed a cheque for �600 to charity Golden Oldies at a presentation last week.
The charity, which promotes and sustains independence in elderly people, was the housing association’s charity of the year for 2011.
For 2012, the firm has set up its own charitable fund with a spokesman saying the ethos will be ‘firmly on how a small contribution can make a huge difference’.
