ONE of Weston’s leading hotels has launched a new app to promote its functions and services – thanks to the Mercury.

The Royal Hotel in South Parade went digital this week with the launch of its iPhone friendly wedding edition app.

The app – designed by the Mercury web team – showcases the wedding options available at the up-market hotel to would-be brides and grooms.

It will be followed by the February launch of the hotel’s restaurant, bar and entertainment edition to promote these services, with three further editions to follow. A hotel spokesman said: “This app will provide customers with full details of the variety of services and facilities we have on offer.

“We have five editions to download including accommodation, weddings, restaurant, bar and entertainment and conferencing.

“Once you have downloaded the app from either the Apple store on iPhones or iPads or Google Play app store on android phones, then you will be able to view all the choices and pictures of our facilities to ensure your wedding day is perfect.

“The accommodation edition contains full details of all of our exquisite rooms, with pictures and tariffs.

“Check out our entertainment listings for our very own Elvis tribute act, weekly jazz and local bands and singers.

“If it’s food you’re looking for, look no further.

“View our seasonal menus on our restaurant edition, where you will also find bar menus and opening times.

“We also pride ourselves on having excellent conferencing facilities so download our conferencing edition to see our facilities, rooms and accommodation.”
