A FORMER England rugby player has agreed to become the figurehead of a Milton estate agent’s charity push ahead of their grand ball next year.
World Cup winner Mark Regan, who has played for Bath and Bristol in an illustrious career, will attend the Avery Estate Agents grand charity ball on April 16.
The ball was originally set up to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit in Bristol in 2006.
Sarah Tyson of Avery said: “Weston is so rugby orientated that to have someone like Mark as our patron is great.
“We met him at a fund-raiser earlier in the year, and he has agreed to come to the ball in April, which is something a lot of patrons wouldn’t do.”
