AN 18th century hotel on Burnham seafront has been put up for sale, with a price tag of nearly half a million pounds.
The 15-room Royal Clarence Hotel dates back to 1796, and is the only hotel still trading on the town’s seafront.
Agent Colliers International says the hotel – which is being sold complete with two adjoining flats – has been recently renovated and remains highly profitable.
Spokesman Simon Wells said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has always dreamed of owning their own hotel.
“Priced at just 10 per cent more than a four-bedroom house in nearby Rectory Road, the hotel represents good value and will provide both a home and a substantial income.”
