A BLAGDON business attended Buckingham Palace for The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2011.
Yeo Valley Farm received its third Queen’s Award for sustainable development.
They joined 12 winners from across the South West who had the opportunity to meet the Queen and other members of the royal family.
Managing director Tim Mead said: “Winning just one award was a huge honour.
“To have been recognised for a third time, for sustainable development is something we are immensely proud of and is a great way to celebrate our fiftieth year.
“We have grown from a small producer into a significant player in the dairy market, but our size has not diminished our commitment to sustainable farming and our renewable energy project is the latest development to help reduce our impact on the environment.”
