A Somerset care home has earned praise from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Daneswood Care Home in Shipham, which cares for clients with learning disabilities, was rated ‘good’ by the CQC after a January inspection.
The report read: “People consistently told us that they thought the service provided an excellent standard of care and support to their relative living at the care home.”
Registered manager John Rossiter said: “We are really proud of the staff and the quality of care they deliver.
“We have a warm and caring environment and a nice family feeling for the clients.”
