Thatchers Cider has been showing off what is great about our area this week, by hosting Somerset Day celebrations at The Railway Inn.
The Sandford pub marked the occasion by showcasing some local traditions, including cider, cheese and a show from the Mendip Morris Men.
Sandford School pupils’ paintings were displayed at the inn, depicting their favourite sights in Somerset.
Thatchers manager director Martin Thatcher said: “We have a great heritage in Somerset and Somerset Day is the perfect way to tell people across the UK what a great place we all live in, and what amazing food and drink is produced here.”
