A NATIONAL supermarket chain has celebrated opening a new convenience store in Congresbury with a donation to a West Country neo-natal intensive care unit.
Tesco Express unveiled its new outlet in Brinsea Road, and marked the occasion by handing over 500 to Bath’s Royal United Hospital.
Store manager Jason Cooper said: “We were delighted to be able to support the (hospital) as they do fantastic work for the South West – including Congresbury.
“My team and I hope that Tesco will become a key part of the local community.”
