A STREET of specially-designed homes for the over-50s has opened in Weston.
Payne’s Way, near Westbury Crescent, has bungalows and two-bedroom flats which are fully wheelchair accessible and have been built to be as energy efficient as possible for lower running costs.
There is also a communal rooftop terrace accessed by a lift, providing a space for socialising.
North Somerset Councillors and the mayor joined the Alliance Homes Group and construction firm Speller Metcalfe on the official opening.
