Summer has arrived with the scent of lavender

The lavender field on the A371 by-pass just above Axbridge is now open.

Lavender & Co is a family run business in Somerset on the Mendip Hills with a shop and workship selling products and plants.

In addition there will also be a kitchen providing light lunches, coffees, teas and cake from 10am to 5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until September.

The lavender is grown on the old strawberry field on the A371 by-pass to Cheddar just above Axbridge.

Admission and parking are free.
