CUSTOMERS and colleagues from a Weston supermarket have been raising money for breast cancer charities with a fete and raffle.
On Saturday, Asda based in Phillips Road, held a community fete with a cake sale, tombola, guessing games and raffles raising £316 in total.
In the evening, people took part in a charity walk from Uphill to the Grand Pier and back. Asda’s Rachel Mansfield said: “The weather didn’t stop raining, but that didn’t dampen the event.
“I would like to thank everybody who took part and those that volunteered by marshalling the event.”
