WESTON'S Asda supermarket is creating 30 new jobs, to take its total workforce towards the 500 mark.
The store, located in Phillips Road, already boasts 433 employees, but is looking to expand those numbers because of an increase in trade.
The branch's people manager, Tony Devonald, said: "We're having to do this simply because our sales figures are doing really well and not because of any particular change in store.
"And although we expect to see a rise in shoppers throughout the summer holiday season, we see these jobs as being permanent.
