A gruelling 500km cycle ride will be tackled by staff from a top hotel, in a bid to raise tens of thousands for charity.

A team from Congresbury’s Double Tree by Hilton, Cadbury House will take on the A To B cycle ride – from Amsterdam to Bristol – this month with hopes of raising £60,000 for Bristol charity PROPS.

Chief executive Nick Taplin said: “It’s going to be a challenging yet fun event, where the rider’s stamina will be pushed each day.

“They will however cycle past some amazing scenery from the windmills and tulips in Amsterdam, the beaches of Dunkirk and Stonehenge.

“To ride across the Clifton Suspension Bridge at the end of the ride will be an amazing spectacle and one all the riders will remember for a long time.”
