The head of a Weston-super-Mare firm has scooped a top honour from an internationally-renowned business organisation.
Andrew Scott is the managing director of the Ascot Group, a marketing, media and technology business based in Worle.
Last week, he won an Institute of Directors (IoD) Award for corporate responsibility in recognition of his ‘standout commitment to developing staff and creating jobs in Weston’.
Mr Scott said: “Yes, business is about revenue and growth, but a sustainable business is also about re-investing in your people and the community you serve. This is part of our culture and central to our future growth plans.
“We set out to create a world-class business in Weston and will continue to invest in recruiting and developing local talent.”
