SOMERSET’S top tourism leaders gathered at one of the region’s newest businesses to discuss the issues facing the area.
The chairman of VisitEngland, Lady Cobham, met with representatives including those from Hoseasons, Cheddar Gorge and Caves and Weston’s Grand Pier at Cheddar Woods in Axbridge Road.
Cheddar Woods spokesman Anthony Esse said: “We have invited local tourism attractions here to learn how we can best work together for mutual benefit.
“Working together creates a virtuous circle. We benefit due to repeat visits, local destinations benefit due to increased visitor numbers and most importantly our guests have a fantastic holiday.”
