Two businesswomen with a passion for giving furniture a new lease of life have opened their own shop in Weston.
Tracy Gulasci and Tracey Coupland met at a Cheddar car boot sale where they had permanent pitches.
Tracy said: “We both have a passion for rescuing furniture and giving it a new lease of life by painting, upcycling and reupholstering. When we saw the shop was up for rent, we jumped at the chance to collaborate and expand both of our businesses.”
Tracy specialises in upholstery while Tracey’s passion lies in painting.
The duo will sell their pieces from The Artisan Center, in Locking Moor Road, and they are also running classes in upholstery, with plans to start sessions for decoupage, furniture painting, upcycling, card making and folk art.
They are also encouraging artists to hold regular pop-up exhibitions at the art and craft hub.
