THE Post Office in Regent Street will be open as usual for the next two days, despite being forced to close unexpectedly yesterday (Monday).
Unforeseen contractual issues with its premises in Regent Street forced the branch to close its doors at around 5.30pm last night.
But renegotiations with the landlord have now taken place and it will be open as normal today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday).
The Post Office recently held a consultation regarding its plans to relocate to a new premises just metres away from its current temporary base in Regent Street, the six week consultation period has now ended and an announcment will be made shortly.
