NEW drawings and an online video of the 50million Leisuredome development have been released this week by its developers.

The 3D film pans around the former RAF Locking site and gives a vision of what the winter sports complex will look like when it opens to the public in 2013.

It was granted planning permission earlier this year and will feature a 210-metre ski slope and the world’s largest indoor climbing wall.

Since the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government approved the plans in September, developers have attracted international chains such as Subway and SOHO Coffee Co to join the project.

Leisuredome UK believes the new centre will create about 1,000 jobs and estimates more than 500,000 visitors will come through the doors in the first year.
