How far could you grow £30 in 30 days?

That is the challenge being laid down to would-be entrepreneurs in Weston Hospicecare's 30 in 30 business challenge.

The charity is inviting firms to showcase their skill, creativity and money-making prowess in a 30-day contest this June.

Bosses need to pledge a £30 donation to the hospice - then grow the investment as much as possible during the competition.

At the end of the month, firms will donate their final total to the hospice - with a trophy given to the contestant who has raised the most.

All participants will be invited to an end-of-contest get-together.

Every firm will also receive a year's free membership - worth £120 - to business services provider Prompt Payer, the contest's sponsor - meaning an immediate 300 per cent return on their £30 pledge.
