WESTON'S Pets at Home has signed a deal with caterers to provide its animals with the same fruit and vegetables served at Pret a Manger and Carluccio's.

Catering company Reynolds will provide the same food to the in-store pets, which is used in the popular restaurants, as well as the Ramada Jarvis hotel chain.

Following a successful six-month trial, Reynolds will supply a range of fruit, salads, herbs and vegetables – all tailored to the needs of each individual pet - to the Pets at Home stores in Weston and Portishead.

A Pets at Home spokesperson said: “Reynolds are experts at delivering fresh food so our pets will get the best produce to suit their individual dietary requirements.”

Children interested in watching the pets being fed their snacks and learning all about their feeding habits can also take part in regular picnic time sessions at the stores every weekday at 4pm and at 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
