A bar in Weston-super-Mare has had a revamp following a £30,000 investment.

The refurbishment at Yates, in Regent Street, has helped to create 14 new jobs.

Its refurbishment includes a new bar, which serves both cocktails and ales, and a dedicated sports area, showing Sky Sports and BT.

Its menu includes breakfasts with free coffees and evening meals.

Vince Williams, head of marketing at Yates, said: “Weston is a key site for us and we’re excited about investing in a brand new look and creating jobs for the local areas.

“The investment means our Somerset customers can experience a night out like nowhere else in the town, with a brand new surroundings and a fantastic atmosphere both day and night.”

The redesign includes a new cocktail station, where customers can learn how to mix drinks.

Bosses have also introduced a number of food and drinks offers on different days of the week

A variety of DJs will perform on Friday nights, with the aim of catering to all music tastes.
