A WESTON photographer who was inspired by John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney is offering people a little piece of history.Pete Brownett, who own Emotions Gallery in Orchard Place, Weston, took this photograph of The Beatles when he was just 15. He had been invited to see John, Paul, Ringo and George appear on stage at The Odeon on July 25 1963.Now Pete, who lives in Uphill, is offering people the chance to buy a copy of the limited edition print.He said: "I was working for a photographer in Weston and he was asked to go to The Odeon and I went with him."I was allowed to take one photo and push the button and this is it."Being just 15 I looked up to the band and they were so nice."I asked them why they were so nice and John said 'We've got one rule in life and that's to be nice to people on the way up because you will meet them on the way down'."Paul told me to always do something I love and I have - I carried on with photography."Anyone who wants to get their hands on a copy of the picture can call 01934 620184 or 633935.* Above: The picture that Pete took when The Beatles appeared at The Odeon in 1963.
