THREE men have been nominated to battle it out and see who will be selected as a ward councillor to sit on Weston Town Council.
A by-election will be held next month to determine who will represent the Summer Lane ward after its Liberal Democrat representative resigned from the post.
Mick Harley was aged 66 when he won a seat on the town council during elections in May but left in January due to health reasons.
The three men hoping to take the seat are David Hitchins for the Conservatives, Robert Payne for the Liberal Democrats and Simon Stokes for Labour.
Residents can vote for who they want on March 13.
