Steve Finch owns Caboodle, in Meadow Street. He donated the vouchers, worth £200, to the hospice after one of the winner’s of last month’s Five Gold Rings competition – which was run in partnership with the Mercury – donated her £500 prize to the Uphill charity.

The prizes will be used in the hospice’s Mother’s Day raffle.

Steve said: “My family and I will always be eternally grateful for the wonderful, tender care my father received.”
